The Citation Sovereign is Cessna’s interpretation of the perfect business jet: it is comfortable, strong and economical. The Sovereign’s greatest asset is its reach. After all, like large jets, it can fly from coast to coast, but still retains the typical characteristics that make medium-sized private jets so interesting. It can take off below 4,000 feet and travel at a cruising speed of approximately 0.80 Mach (458 knots).
Recently, some American investment funds have placed huge orders for this aircraft, the market’s trust is big.
The Sovereign’s cabin is 7.7 meters long and can accommodate between eight and nine people or more in the seats that are usually 180-degree rotatable. The interior is large enough to allow passengers to fully enjoy the 1.73 meter high cabin. The Sovereign’s luggage compartment is the largest of any comparable private jet. In total, the Sovereign has a luggage space of 3.8 cubic meters. The bathroom is also spacious. Passengers can change in privacy (thanks to the hard double sliding door). Safety was obviously a top priority for Cessna in the design of the Sovereign. Everything – from its simple flight procedures to the many standard emergency systems – helps prevent accidents or makes them easier to deal with.
